We have an opening with my client who is looking for Test Automation, at Santa Clara, CA.…

Position: Test Automation
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Santa Clara, CA.

Job Functions:

1. Develop testing infrastructure for automated product testing and reporting of test coverage and test success / failure rates.
2. Work with Development and QA team leads to create testing infrastructure to automate testing.
3. Identify the components of the system to be automated based on both business priority and benefit of automated testing.
4. Working closely with Engineering to understand the Product Architecture and identifying, designing, or enhancing existing test frameworks
5. Ability to design, develop and code product modules on as required.

Primary Qualifications:

Strong STORAGE AND NETWORKING EXPERIENCE IS MUST !!!!! or profiles will not be accepted…

• BS in Computer science or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of overall IT experience with atleast 3+ years experience with back-end & front-end testing with ability to read code & develop automated test scripts using Java, JUNIT, & PERL
• Experience with automated test tools and load testing packages (Selenium, Jmeter)
• Experience with Flex based GUI testing is desirable
• Programming experience with Java and scripting with SQL using MySQL
• Experience with XML and web services testing a plus
• Experience with scripting languages including Python, Perl, PHP, Shell Scripts, etc a plus
• Certifications, such as CSTE and/or CSQA highly desirable
• Capacity for attention to details
• Strong organizational and communication skills
